Guinness World Record World's Longest Podcast

On November 15th, 2018, my closets friends and I attempted to break the Guinness World Record for 'World's Longest Audio live Stream (or World's Longest Podcast).
The rules stated that we had to speak on one topic and we could not have more than 5 seconds of dead air. The original record was 52 hours and we broke the record with a time of 58 hours. We spoke about film for 3 days straight. Me and 8 other students broke up into segments where we spoke on different aspects of film. My topic was about the Film Industry including the social issues within it. The live stream took place on YouTube live for viewers to listen in.
Weeks before the podcast, I applied my skills and held photo shoots and interview diaries of my peers in order to spread media attention. I also delegated tasks and scheduled meetings frequently. I also created the YouTube channel and the final graphic.
The record is currently being reviewed by Guinness and is still pending.

My friends and I slept in the Radio, Television, Film and Performing Arts Building at the University of North Texas in room 184

I currently produce and co-host a podcast called Talkumentaries in which I discuss the original programming create by AMS Pictures. I organize and book studio time, crew and guests for the podcast as well as contribute to the set and art set up/takedown. It serves as a way to connect to other audiences and short form media as well as a way to promote content on social media.
